Phone and case compatibility

Wireless charging requires a phone that supports it. Magnetic attachment needs a compatible phone, case or correctly positioned magnetic ring. A ring does not add wireless charging support. Do not assume a phone charging surface can charge your watch; earphone cases must also support a compatible wireless charging method.

Understanding charging power

Charging power depends on the phone, standard and conditions. The product's maximum rating does not mean every iPhone charges at that power. MagSafe-compatible magnetic attachment alone does not establish Qi2 or Made for MagSafe certification. Both models have USB-C and USB-A ports for wired charging.

Nominal battery capacity does not transfer entirely to the phone. Charging losses and phone use affect the extra power delivered, so full charges cannot be calculated directly from the mAh figure.
